Data settings for iOS and Android

iOS 

Go to Settings > Mobile Data> Data Network > tap APN and type internet

 Feature Phones (WAP settings, 2G devices)

1. Account Name: MTN
2. IP address (Proxy): 172.17.3.5
3. Port: 8080 
4. Access point name (APN): wap

Dial *156# and select option 2 to receive and install settings (NB: This option is not available to all devices)

3. Select and turn on hotspot & tethering
4. Follow instructions to change or customize the hotspot SSID and password to your liking.

 iOS

1. Go to Settings
2. Select cellular
3. Select Personal Hotspot
4. Tap the slider to allow others to join

3. Select or open the targeted app
4. Select mobile data
5. Select or toggle to turn off background data
